Role Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Controls Engineer to join our team in Liverpool. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced engineers to take their careers to the next level.
About the Position
- Design, implement, maintain, and improve electrical control instrumentation, equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems.
- Utilize computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks.
- Direct and coordinate construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements.
- Inspect completed installations and observe operations to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards.
- Develop research methodology and procedures to apply principles of control theory to engineering projects.
- Prepare specifications for the purchase of materials and equipment.
- Supervise and train project team members as necessary.
Benefits and Salary
- Estimated salary: £42,000 per annum.
- Mondays to Thursdays: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM.
- Fridays: 7:30 AM - 1:00 PM.

- 25 days plus bank holidays (note: we operate a Christmas shutdown using 3 of these days).
- Pension scheme with 4% employer contribution and 4% employee contribution to Legal & General.
- Hybrid working arrangement with work-from-home options on Wednesdays and Fridays, plus an early finish on Fridays.
- RAC cover.
- Death in Service benefit (four times salary).
