Electrical Control and Instrumentation Specialist

Z-Tech Control Systems is seeking a skilled Electrical Control and Instrumentation (EC&I) Technician to join our team. As an EC&I Technician, you will be responsible for the delivery of preventative maintenance of electrical systems, controls, and instrumentation. Your duties will include performing reactive and corrective maintenance, fault finding, and repairs. You will also be responsible for replacing and calibrating instruments, installing new systems and equipment, and commissioning, all in line with BS standards.
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading specialist MEICA support provider to the UK's Water, Energy, and Adjacent Market industries. As an EC&I Technician, you will be working across various sites, utilising your Z-Tech van and company fuel card. You will be responsible for adhering to industry, British, International, and customer standards, as well as Z-Tech's Policies, Procedures, and Safe Systems of Work.
Requirements:
We are looking for a candidate with a successful completion of ONC/HNC in engineering (or equivalent), NVQ, or C&G Level 3 Electrical. You will also need industrial experience and a valid driving licence. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, so you must be able to work well under pressure and be able to adapt to changing situations. You will also be required to work at heights and in confined spaces.
