Job Description

This role is part of the Adult Social Care department, where you will work collaboratively with carers, providers, and other agencies to provide high-quality care and support. Your primary responsibility will be to manage a caseload, ensuring that each individual receives tailored assistance to meet their unique needs.

You will have the opportunity to chair meetings, deputise for the Team Manager as required, and provide reflective supervision sessions to colleagues. Additionally, you will be expected to discharge statutory duties in a manner that prioritises customer-centred care and demonstrates compassionate, responsive, and proportionate approaches.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will possess strong interpersonal skills, a deep understanding of adult social care principles, and the ability to navigate complex situations effectively. A relevant qualification in Social Work or Nursing would be advantageous, along with experience working with vulnerable populations.

Benefits

Central Bedfordshire Council offers an attractive compensation package, including a salary range of £40,000-£55,000 per annum, dependent on experience. £45,000 - £50,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
