Senior Pharmacovigilance Scientist

As a Senior Scientist at Vectura, you will play a pivotal role in driving innovation and improving products and services. Your deep technical expertise will be essential in solving complex problems and leading experimental work within the laboratory.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Technical Expertise: Lead problem-solving initiatives across laboratory and process activities, applying your in-depth knowledge and experience in your scientific discipline.
  2. Team Leadership: Supervise small teams, allocating tasks and monitoring progress on complex protocols, ensuring strict compliance with Health & Safety (H&S), Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), and role-specific training requirements.
  3. Mentorship: Mentor junior scientists, providing guidance and acting as a role model within the laboratory.
  4. Data Analysis: Conduct detailed data analysis and interpretation, including advanced statistical techniques, to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  5. Project Development: Lead the development, validation, and reporting of technical projects, ensuring adherence to the organization's quality system.
Requirements:
  1. Scientific Discipline: In-depth knowledge and experience in your scientific discipline, with the ability to work independently and lead projects.
  2. Data Analysis: Expertise in data analysis and reporting, with a keen attention to detail and a deep understanding of quality standards.
  3. GMP Processes: Knowledge of GMP processes and experience ensuring compliance within laboratory settings.
