As an Analytical Development Scientist at Just Life Sciences, you will be responsible for leading customer projects, ensuring the quality and integrity of analytical data, and maintaining strong relationships with customers.

You will develop and integrate new analytical capabilities, develop and validate analytical methods, and apply digital tools to deliver fast and efficient process understanding.

Additionally, you will lead initiatives to improve the analytical team's expertise in advanced methodologies, foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation, and mentor and coach junior and mid-level scientists.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a BSc in Chemistry or a related subject, with a PhD advantageous.

They will have broad experience in analytical science, with substantial and proven expertise in the development of pharmaceutical products or related chemical industries.

They will also have expertise in developing scientifically sound and robust methods of analysis, writing clear reports from complex analytical data, and communicating in technical language with scientific peers.

Experience in common chromatographic data systems and an appreciation of synthetic chemistry, physical organic, and/or catalysis would be advantageous.
