Job Title: Band 5 Dietitian

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Band 5 Dietitian to join our dynamic team at University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified Dietitian to provide high-quality nutrition support to patients across various specialties, including Infectious Diseases, Respiratory, Rheumatology, Oncology, Surgical, Acute Medicine, Diabetes, and Care of the Elderly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide nutritional advice and support to patients through assessments, phone calls, and written communication.
  • Assist in the development of evidence-based resources, policies, and guidelines.
  • Deliver training sessions for ward staff on dietary management of patients requiring nutritional support.
  • Conduct education and training sessions for patients, carers, nursing staff, catering staff, medical staff, and other health professionals as needed.
  • Participate in professional development activities and contribute to the training of Student Dietitians.
Requirements
  • Four-year degree in Nutrition & Dietetics or equivalent.
  • HCPC registration.
  • Membership of the British Dietetic Association (BDA) or equivalent association.
