The role of Finance Business Partner within our Group Overheads team is crucial to us. You will be responsible for bringing further integrity, rigour and development to our financial planning and reporting processes as the business evolves.

Working with stakeholders to build budget plans, review headcount and structure, and help the business take insight and action from their numbers.

Create and maintain management accounts for our central cost areas. Establish and formalise a financial governance structure for all group IT projects.

Providing project managers and key stakeholders with timely financial reports and budgets, as well as project forecasts.

Working closely with project management to prepare and review business plans.

Providing accounting advice to non-finance teams on surrounding capitalisation policies.

Analyse internal and external spend to ensure both compliance with accounting policies as well as reviewing return on investments.

Working collaboratively with project sponsors providing supporting analysis on a timely basis.

Assist with other ad hoc projects as required.

Working proactively with the wider Finance team in providing process and data improvements.

Providing coaching to other members of the team.

Nearly or Qualified Accountant (ACA/ ACCA / CIMA) is desirable.

Strong excel and modelling skills, preferably advanced level.

In-depth knowledge of best practices in accounting.

Experience of working within a fast-paced entrepreneurial business desirable.

Ability to build a strong rapport with members of the Finance Team and the wider business teams.

Strong commercial awareness.

Ability to deliver high quality presentations and documents.
