Jupiter Recruitment is seeking an exceptional Occupational Therapist to join our team in Ayr, Scotland. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and passionate professional to work with individuals with mental illness and/or personality disorders.

As an Occupational Therapist with Jupiter Recruitment, you will be responsible for assessing patient needs, planning and delivering interventions, and maintaining close working relationships with multidisciplinary teams. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough patient assessments and observations to identify individual needs
  • Developing and implementing tailored interventions to address patient needs on an individual or group basis
  • Maintaining effective communication and collaboration with colleagues within the multidisciplinary team
  • SUPPORTING junior occupational therapy staff and students
  • Leading the development and implementation of occupational therapy services within the site, under the supervision of the Lead Occupational Therapist
  • Organizing and delivering therapeutic activities for service users
  • Evaluating patient responses to interventions in accordance with agreed models of practice
  • Providing practical support, advice, and education to patients, carers, and other disciplines

The ideal candidate will possess relevant clinical experience working with mental illness and/or personality disorders. They should also demonstrate evidence of highly effective clinical reasoning skills and extensive knowledge of relevant assessment and treatment models. Additionally, they should be able to effectively communicate with neurodiverse individuals.

We offer a competitive salary range of £28,407 - £34,581 per annum, reflecting your skills and experience.
