About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Assistant Retail Manager to join our team at St Elizabeth's Center. As a key member of our retail team, you will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day management and operation of our charity shop.
Key Responsibilities
- Deputise for the Retail Manager in their absence, ensuring the smooth operation of the shop and providing excellent customer service.
- Maximise opportunities to generate shop income, meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Manage and control cash takings and stock, ensuring accurate reconciliation and minimising losses.
- Create attractive displays and visual merchandising to showcase donated items, while maintaining a safe and healthy shopping environment.
About You
We are looking for a highly organised and creative individual with excellent communication skills and a professional approach. You will have a good working knowledge of pricing donated items, rotating stock, and increasing turnover. As a key member of our team, you will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service and sales.
