We are seeking an experienced nursing professional to fill the role of Deputy Ward Manager at Priory Hospital Dewsbury. This exciting opportunity allows you to provide senior nursing leadership to the ward nursing team, supporting the Ward Manager in delivering high-quality care to our patients.

As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in coordinating efforts, maintaining quality standards, and responding creatively to new challenges. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring our patients receive the best possible care at all times.

About the Role:

  • Provide senior nursing leadership to the ward nursing team in support of the Ward Manager.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of ward policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required.
  • Participate in the on-call rota and respond to emergencies as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Nursing or relevant qualification.
  • Post-registration experience in mental health nursing.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
