- Position Summary
- Cerco is seeking an IT Systems Support Technician to join our dedicated support team. This role involves working in a dynamic environment, providing essential IT services to our clients.
- The technician will play a crucial role in supporting both the facility and the client’s IT requirements, which include servers, networks, storage, and desktop services.
- Work collaboratively within a three-person team to fulfill service requests from Team Leaders.
- Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot technical issues, conduct diagnostics, and resolve problems related to Desktop Services, Data Center operations, Security, Toolsets/Admin, and ITIL methodologies.
- Working Hours
- This role operates on a 24/7, 365-day rotation: 4 (day or night) 12.5-hour shifts, followed by 6 days off. Initial shift phases include: Phase 1 (Mon-Fri, 08:00-16:00), Phase 2 (Mon-Fri, 07:00-19:00), Phase 3 (Full Service 24/7/365 on roster)
- Additional Information
- Preference will be given to candidates residing near the operational area. Relocation assistance may be available for those considering a move. Security Clearance (SC and DV) is required.
- Required Skills
- Technical Proficiency
- In-depth knowledge and practical experience in Desktop Services, Data Center management, Security protocols, Toolsets/Admin, and ITIL processes.
- Hardware and Software Expertise
- Experience with laptops, switches, routers, McAfee Suite, CA Suite, Incident Management, Desktop support, Storage solutions, Trend Suite, ServiceNow, and network shares.
- Server and Software Platforms
- Proficiency in MS Office 2016, Windows Server 2012/16, LogRhythm, Print Services, Change/Patch management, Windows 10, SQL Server 2014/16, RSA, and Licensing.
- Network and Infrastructure Knowledge
- Familiarity with Firewalls, Active Directory (AD), Certificates, Load Balancers, CISCO ISE, Visual Studio Professional 2012, Security Appliances, CISCO Tripwire, and PowerISO.
- Additional Tools and Systems
- Skills in Bluecoat, vRealize Suite, Unisphere Management, SQL Management Studio, Microsoft EMS, and Microsoft SMS.
