About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as an Assistant Team Leader in our Mental Health Accommodation Service in Nottingham.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day leadership for the team, promoting autonomy and creating rotas around the needs and wishes of individuals we support.
  • Ensure that our provision complies with relevant regulations and provides an excellent quality service.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Proven experience working within a social care setting.
  • Ability to create rotas and allocations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • IT skills and ability to use Microsoft Office/Teams.
  • Ability to use assistive technology.
  • Experience working with individuals who require Positive Behaviour Support.
  • Ability to support and supervise others.
  • Managing coaching skills.
  • Understanding of effective budget management.
  • Empathic attitude with the ability to mediate and support individuals.
Qualifications

CQF or equivalent NVQ level 2 in health and social care or be willing to complete this in addition to completing further training.
