Job Summary:

Rise Technical Recruitment is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineering Trainer to join our team at a leading education institute. As a Mechanical Engineering Trainer, you will be responsible for teaching mechanical engineering principles, including machining, CAD/CAM, and quality control, to apprentices who are gaining BTEC qualifications and completing their apprenticeships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach mechanical engineering principles, including machining, CAD/CAM, and quality control, to apprentices
  • Develop and deliver training programs to meet the needs of apprentices
  • Assess and evaluate the progress of apprentices
  • Provide feedback and guidance to apprentices to help them improve their skills
  • Work collaboratively with other trainers and educators to develop and implement training programs

Requirements:

  • Level 3 craft qualification in mechanical engineering or a related field
  • Experience in a mechanical manufacturing or engineering environment, including setting, operating, and programming CNC machinery
  • Good knowledge of CAD/CAM software and systems
  • Ability to communicate effectively with apprentices and other stakeholders
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
