About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Planning Analyst to join our team at Paradigm Housing. As a key member of our Corporate Finance department, you will play a critical role in managing our 30-year business plan and ensuring the Group operates within our financial capacity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the 30-year business plan, working closely with different areas of the business to deliver our corporate plan.
  • Ensure the Group operates within our financial capacity, remaining in compliance with our treasury standards, lender covenants, and rating agency metrics.
  • Assist the Development team and Strategic Asset Management team in reviewing investment appraisals.
  • Prepare and present financial forecasts and reports to senior management.
  • Develop and maintain financial models, including budgeting and forecasting.
Requirements
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of key long-term financial planning approaches and principles.
  • Excellent Excel financial modelling skills.
  • Experience of Proval or similar development appraisal system.
  • Experience of preparing and presenting Financial Forecast Return is highly desirable.
  • Experience of using Brixx software (desirable).
  • UK social housing or residential property development experience (desirable).
About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Financial Planning Analyst who can accurately manage various sources of data input, consolidate this to prepare a business plan, and present financial data to non-finance colleagues.

You must be comfortable with presenting financial data and explaining outputs to non-finance colleagues. Our ideal candidate has experience (or can demonstrate) the ability to challenge colleagues where required, to ensure that inputs are correct and reflect the actual business positions.
