About This Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Expert - Manufacturing to join our team in Northampton. As a key member of our production team, you will play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing product quality.

Your primary responsibility will be to investigate, analyse, and resolve quality issues, working closely with the Technical Director and production team. You will also conduct analysis, development, and testing of products, raw materials, and packaging, as well as monitor and report on technical trials.

To succeed in this role, you should have experience in quality assurance within a fast-paced environment, with familiarity in modern testing methods and analytical techniques. You will be responsible for managing and processing supplier complaints, ensuring timely resolution and minimising downtime.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Quality Assurance: Investigate, analyse, and resolve quality issues, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies.
  2. Data Analysis: Analyse and report on quality trends, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  3. Product Testing: Conduct analysis, development, and testing of products, raw materials, and packaging, ensuring they meet quality and safety standards.
  4. Trial Monitoring: Monitor, analyse, and report on technical trials, providing recommendations for process improvements.
  5. Supplier Liaison: Manage and process supplier complaints, ensuring timely resolution and minimising downtime.
Requirements
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in quality assurance within a fast-paced environment, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
  • Skills: Familiarity with modern testing methods and analytical techniques, excellent problem-solving and communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
What We Offer
  • Salary: £52,000 - £62,000 per annum, depending on experience.
  • Holiday Allowance: 26 days holiday + Bank Holidays.
  • Contract Type: 10-month Fixed Term Contract (Maternity Cover).
