Jameson Legal is seeking an experienced Immigration Knowledge Development Lawyer to join our team on a part-time basis for 3 days a week. This role is ideal for a qualified lawyer with upwards of 5 years' PQE specialising in Immigration, looking to transition into a Knowledge Development Lawyer role.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating, designing, and preparing internal and client legal training, collecting, drafting, and maintaining key precedents and client guides, and monitoring legal developments and emerging areas of law.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating and preparing internal and client legal training
  • Collecting, drafting, and maintaining key precedents and client guides
  • Monitoring legal developments and emerging areas of law
  • Managing the Immigration team's knowledge pages on the firm's intranet
  • Working with the Partners and Risk and Compliance teams to implement and embed best practice and risk management practices across the team
  • Responding to legal queries from fee earners

Requirements:

  • Qualified lawyer with upwards of 5 years' PQE specialising in Immigration
  • Experience gained within notable international or City law firms
  • Excellent technical skills
  • Prior experience working as an Immigration Knowledge Development Lawyer or transitioning into a Knowledge Development Lawyer role
  • Experience in contributing to precedents, know-how, and training
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work proactively and calmly under pressure

The firm operates a hybrid working policy, and the successful candidate will be expected to spend 2 days per week in the London office.
