Job Description

Meriden Media is seeking a skilled Aluminium TIG Welder to join our team in a well-established manufacturing company. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about welding and eager to grow within a supportive team on a temporary to permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Weld and fabricate components according to detailed plans, ensuring high-quality results.
  • Operate welding machinery and related tools to meet customer specifications.
  • Use grinders and buffers to clean and smooth parts before and after welding.
  • Keep all equipment and tools clean and well-maintained.
  • Accurately read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding specifications.
  • Ensure the workspace is tidy and well-organized, with all materials and tools readily accessible.
  • Follow all Health & Safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a TIG Welder, ideally within a similar industry.
  • A keen eye for detail and precision in all aspects of work.
  • Ability to work with a variety of materials and gauges.
  • Experience welding aluminium materials ranging from 0.8mm to 3.0mm in thickness.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to complete tasks within set deadlines.
  • Maintain thorough records of completed work.
