Pertemps is seeking a skilled Aluminium TIG Welder to work on a temporary to permanent basis in a well-established manufacturing company in Kidderminster. The successful candidate will be responsible for welding and fabricating components according to detailed plans, ensuring high-quality results. Key responsibilities include operating welding machinery and related tools, using grinders and buffers to clean and smooth parts, and maintaining equipment and tools. The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a TIG Welder, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work with a variety of materials and gauges. Strong time management skills and the ability to complete tasks within set deadlines are also essential. The company offers a competitive hourly rate of £15 plus shift allowance, and the contract is temporary to permanent. The successful candidate will be eager to contribute to a respected company while developing their skills in a supportive environment. The duties of an Aluminium TIG Welder include:
  1. Welding and fabricating components according to detailed plans.
  2. Operating welding machinery and related tools.
  3. Using grinders and buffers to clean and smooth parts.
  4. Maintaining equipment and tools.
  5. Accurately reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and welding specifications.
  6. Ensuring the workspace is tidy and all materials and tools are readily accessible.
  7. Following all Health & Safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
The requirements of an Aluminium TIG Welder include:
  1. Previous experience as a TIG Welder, ideally within a similar industry.
  2. A keen eye for detail and precision in all aspects of work.
  3. The ability to work with a variety of materials and gauges.
  4. Experience welding materials from 0.8mm - 3.0mm specifically aluminium.
  5. Strong time management skills and the ability to complete tasks within set deadlines.
  6. Maintaining thorough records of work completed.
