Job Title: Senior Project Planner

Turner & Townsend is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Planner to join our team. As a key member of our project controls team, you will be responsible for leading the planning discipline on high complexity, high risk projects or programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain project schedules that align with project requirements
  • Ensure adherence to NEC or FIDIC contract processes for schedule data and submissions
  • Assist project teams in developing status reports to keep management informed on project progress
  • Oversight of day-to-day management, staffing, and implementation of Integrated Project Controls standards and processes
  • Collaborate with project managers to develop and update detailed schedules, cost information, and identification of variances from the original plan
  • Evaluate project schedule progress and performance, identifying developing problem areas
  • Assist project managers in maintaining timely and effective change management processes and procedures
  • Conduct analysis to understand alternative courses of action or recovery on slipped schedules
  • Undertake project reviews and monitor overall project plans
Requirements:
  • Professional Project Controls experience specializing in Planning & Scheduling across multiple sectors and the project lifecycle
  • Strong knowledge and proficiency with Primavera (P6) and/or other planning and resourcing software
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence, manage, motivate, coach, and develop a team
  • A degree in a relevant technical or management field or suitable equivalent qualifications and experience
  • The ability to make risk-based decisions where parameters are unclear and judgment is needed
