The Opportunity

As a Senior at Azets, you will have the ability and motivation needed to:

  • Take ownership of your own portfolio with support from your manager
  • Contribute to delivering revenue and profitability targets
  • Develop enduring client relationships
Day-to-Day Duties

Responsibilities include:

  • Producing complex annual statutory accounts for clients while offering advice on best practice and recommendations for partner review
  • Providing support to clients from an accounting perspective
  • Mentoring junior team members to answer day-to-day queries and guide their journey
  • Working autonomously and as part of a team
  • Supporting and mentoring junior members of staff
  • Maintaining high levels of communication with staff, line manager, and clients
  • Completing your own chargeable time budget
  • Meeting expected utilisation % budgets and working towards delivering this
  • Carefully narrating your timesheet, capturing accurate analysis of work undertaken
  • Ensuring all hours worked are recorded on your timesheet
  • Initiating the fee process
Requirements

We are looking for:

  • ACA/ACCA/CA newly qualified (or equivalent)
  • Proven experience in a similar role
  • A journey that continues via mentorship by the senior management team to provide soft skills development, such as more effective client management, and steps towards staff management
