A Bit About the Job:
In this position, you will be acting as a trusted advisor to the business, providing guidance on risk and control matters, commercial growth initiatives, and change. You will foster a good risk culture by raising awareness about the importance of risk management and control across GCS. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the ongoing provision of risk management advice and guidance to guarantee sound business decisions are made.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret and apply framework requirements to align with business objectives.
- Set and chair the risk functional risk forums, including agenda identification and management of risks proactively.
- Evaluate the control environment to enhance existing controls and processes to ensure they align with business standards and policies.
Requirements:
- London Market OR Lloyds experience within the Insurance sector is essential.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills at all levels, with proven business partnering experience.
- Proven track record of influencing C-Suite and senior stakeholders on all things Risk and Conduct, including 1st and 2nd line.
- Knowledge of the General Insurance market and associated regulatory frameworks.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills to identify the root cause and resolve performance blockages.
Aviva operates a 'smart-working' policy, which means you will spend approximately half of your time working in an office. This role is based in London.
What You'll Get:
- Starting salary circa £110,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications).
