Key Responsibilities

  • Assist individuals with various activities of daily living, including personal care and mobility support.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Ensure the safety and security of individuals at all times, adhering to health and safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement personalized support plans, promoting individual goals and aspirations.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment, promoting a culture of respect and inclusivity.

Requirements

  • Compassion, kindness, and empathy when interacting with individuals and their families.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with individuals, colleagues, and external partners.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays, to meet the needs of the service.
  • Driving license and access to a reliable vehicle, with the ability to transport individuals as required.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and respond to changing situations.
