The Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced or trainee dental laboratory technician to join their team. This role offers a competitive salary of £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled individual to support the day-to-day clinical delivery of crown and bridge dental laboratory work. The successful candidate will work closely with consultants and senior clinical staff to plan, design, and construct restorative appliances.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Distribution and allocation of work in the absence of any laboratory management team members
  • Providing technical laboratory support for clinical staff, postgraduate, and undergraduate students
  • Contributing to the supervision and training of lower-grade laboratory staff and students
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • GDC registration
  • BSc/BTech diploma in dental technology or equivalent
  • Able to demonstrate interest in continuing professional development

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work flexibly and under pressure.
