Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble, install, and maintain mechanical components and systems, adhering to specifications, drawings, and RAMS.
- Perform mechanical installation and repair of pumps, fans, and gearboxes.
- Install, service, and repair pipework and valves.
- Carry out general steel work, handrails, ladders, platforms, and erection of lifting gantries.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety, regulatory, and quality standards.
Requirements:
- Previous mechanical engineering experience and either full apprenticeship or level 3 qualification in a relevant field.
- Good level of technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Good level of computer literacy and full driving license.
- Ability to work well on own initiative as well as part of a team.
Salary: £17 - £19 per hour DOE, plus £200 call out standby/week and 1.25 per hour call out (OTE £45,000 plus per annum), plus van, fuel card, laptop, and phone.
