About this Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Finance Business Partner to join our Commercial Finance team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting the Head of Commercial Finance in business partnering the UK Marketing team, leading on forecasting, reporting, and driving performance improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the P&L - Own and manage >£100m of marketing and customer promotional spend, ensuring a 'no surprises' reporting environment.
  • Review Performance - Analyse our marketing effectiveness at a channel level and a project level and influence how this drives key business objectives.
  • Forward Plan - Lead on planning and forecasting marketing spend, helping ensure 'best bang for buck' and interlocking marketing spend with campaign planning and business objectives.
  • Business Partnering - Key finance partner to the UK Marketing Director and UK Marketing team, supporting in delivery of strategic objectives and performance analysis of business priorities.
  • Drive Optimisations - Support marketing teams on improvement opportunities to drive more efficient and effective use of marketing spend.
  • Maintain Control - Own multiple SoX controls to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Lead a team - Manage the Marketing Finance team, developing an effective and motivated team who work smartly and productively.
What We're Looking For
  • CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified (or equivalent), 5-7 years PQE.
  • Marketing finance experience preferred, with demonstrable experience of P&L management and control.
  • Experience working alongside various finance functions, as well as working directly with business stakeholders and external auditors.
  • Ability to challenge existing processes and ways of working, seeking to improve the status quo.
