About the Role
This exciting opportunity allows you to bring your expertise in HR solutions to a leading organization in the industry. Youll collaborate with senior leaders to develop and implement strategic HR plans, ensuring alignment with the companys goals and objectives. Strong analytical skills, using data-driven insights to identify trends, anticipate organizational needs, and recommend proactive HR solutions are essential. Additionally, you should be skilled in casework management, design and delivery of training and/or awareness on employment matters to employees and people leaders, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
Main Responsibilities
- Build trusted relationships with senior leaders to drive the delivery of People Plans and business-related projects
- Lead recruitment activity for Finning Canada, from sourcing through to the issue of contracts of employment and onboarding
- Develop and implement HR policies and practices for Finning Canada, ensuring they are fair, consistent, and compliant with relevant legislation
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to establish and manage a training plan, ensuring continuous development of employees
- Provide expert advice and guidance on employment matters, including recruitment, employee experience, reward, performance management, and employee development
