Health Information Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Health Information Specialist to join our Cardiac Services team. As a key member of the data management team, you will be responsible for promoting optimum quality data collection and reporting, ensuring overall accuracy and high-quality cardiac information recorded in our systems.
Main Responsibilities:- Developing and implementing data collection processes to improve the quality and accuracy of cardiac information recorded in our systems.
- Providing technical support to users of CCW and PATS systems, including setting up and suspending user accounts, resetting passwords, and amending templates.
- Assisting in the preparation of regular reports from CCW and PATS systems.
- Promoting good practice in the use of IT and IT security.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of patient information and treatment plans.
- Degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data analysis and interpretation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
We offer a competitive salary of £38,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience, and an excellent benefits package, including opportunities for professional development and growth.
