About the Role:

As a Chef Apprentice at Greene King, you will have the opportunity to develop your culinary skills and work towards a Production Chef Level 2 Apprenticeship Qualification. With a passion for delivering high-quality meals to customers, you will be an invaluable member of the kitchen team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare, cook, and present food that meets specs and customer expectations
- Maintain hygiene levels and safety regulations in the kitchen to guarantee the safety of your team and visitors
- Communicate clearly with your team to provide high-quality meals to customers on time
- Keep up to date with new products, menus, and promotions

What You'll Bring:

- Ability to work under pressure in a busy kitchen and pull together as a team when needed
- A passion for delivering tasty and well-presented meals to customers each time
- Willingness to get stuck in, learn new skills, and help out in different areas of the kitchen when needed

Apprenticeship Benefits:

- A mixture of face-to-face and remote catch-ups every 4-6 weeks to discuss feedback and progress
- A mixture of on-the-job and off-the-job training, including workshops and webinars
- Reviews every 12 weeks with your Line Manager and Apprenticeship Trainer
- The chance to gain Functional Skills in English and maths (if you don't already have GCSEs)
- A Chef Apprenticeship Qualification once you have completed the 15-month programme
- Attend 4 masterclasses to further develop your Chef skills

At Greene King, you will be working towards a Production Chef Level 2 Apprenticeship Qualification over the course of 15 months.
