Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and evaluate machine and labor resources to ensure continuous productivity and minimal downtime
  • Plan and organize production schedules to meet business objectives
  • Distribute manpower effectively to optimize efficiency
  • Maintain cost-effective production processes, minimize overtime spend, and drive operational excellence
  • Oversee the production process, ensuring adherence to required processes and quality controls
  • Review departmental performance against Action Plans and KPIs
  • Lead and motivate a large multi-functional team, providing guidance and support as needed

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing management role
  • Solid understanding of lean manufacturing principles and methods, with examples of implementation
  • Able to lead, motivate, and influence large teams to drive business outcomes
  • Excellent project management skills, with a focus on delivering results-oriented solutions
  • Successful track record of training employees in productivity and safety best practices

We estimate the salary for this position to be around £60,000-£80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
