About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Progress Tutor to join our team at Suffolk New College. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering tutorial support and professional skills development to students, helping them to achieve their academic and personal goals.

Main Responsibilities

  • To deliver high-quality tutorial content that meets the needs of students, focusing on areas such as resilience, health and well-being, life skills, and careers and employability.
  • To work closely with colleagues to develop and implement effective strategies for supporting student success.
  • To provide regular feedback and coaching to students, helping them to set and achieve their goals.

Requirements

  • A level 3 qualification with literacy and numeracy to Level 2 (GCSE grade 4/C).
  • A teaching qualification or a commitment to attaining one within a specified timeframe.

Working Arrangements

This role is based at our Ipswich campus, with the possibility of working at and travelling between campuses. We promote a culture of inclusivity and support where each student, staff and community member can reach their full potential.

Salary Information

The salary for this role is estimated to be in the range of £23,448 to £27,957 per annum, pro rata if part-time. This reflects the level of responsibility and expertise required for the position.
