In this role, you'll be at the heart of operations, collaborating closely with the purchasing and production teams to craft seamless production schedules.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Work closely with the manufacturing team to coordinate detailed production schedules
  2. Monitor stock levels and lead times to prevent shortages
  3. Optimise production efficiency by allocating resources effectively
  4. Handle daily production documents with precision
  5. Review sales data to adjust build plans and prevent stock issues
  6. Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services
  7. Keep the MRP/ERP system up to date with material, supplier, and planning data
  8. Communicate effectively between sales and production teams to prevent supply challenges
Requirements:
  1. Experience in planning and buying in a manufacturing setting is essential
  2. CIPS qualification or equivalent is a plus, although the business will support you in completing this to further your development
  3. Strong understanding of planning and procurement principles
  4. MRP/ERP system experience is preferred
  5. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make informed decisions
  6. Able to work in cross-functional teams and build strong external relationships
  7. Exceptional organisational skills to juggle multiple priorities
