Procurement Officer Role

Are you a skilled buyer or supply chain specialist looking for a new challenge?

We are seeking a talented Procurement Officer to join our team at Entech Technical Solutions Limited. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for managing procurement dependencies across our manufacturing facility. Your primary goal will be to create procurement strategies that communicate clear cost, time, and quality deliverables to key stakeholders. You will also be responsible for contract negotiation and agreeing terms and conditions as per our standard procedure. Additionally, you will manage risks and opportunities registers, and provide management reporting to evidence performance against key targets.

This is a long-term contract opportunity, with a minimum of 12 months, although it is likely to become a long-term, ongoing contract. You will be based in Peterborough, with some hybrid working available. If you have experience in purchasing and buying products for a manufacturing facility, ideally in the engineering sector, and are looking for a new challenge, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage procurement dependencies across the manufacturing facility
Create procurement strategies that communicate clear cost, time, and quality deliverables to key stakeholders
Contract negotiation and agreeing terms and conditions as per our standard procedure
Manage risks and opportunities registers
Provide management reporting to evidence performance against key targets

Requirements:
Experience in purchasing and buying products for a manufacturing facility, ideally in the engineering sector
CIPS preferred or currently studying for CIPS
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Competitive hourly rate of £29.50
