Oversee Quality Engineers

  • Develop and assess new Halfords own brand products.
  • Provide input and guidance on products technical and compliance requirements.
  • Support Halfords Global Sourcing team in ensuring Suppliers/Factories comply to the Halfords technical and social Auditing program.
  • Monitor Customer product returns and own product corrective actions plans.
  • Review standards and Regulations, providing training and support to Teams.
  • Manage and develop Motoring Quality Engineers.
  • Represent Halfords with external technical bodies and associations.
  • Support and facilitate the Quality Management System.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Experience in the hard goods retailer sector is an advantage.
  • Understand Customer needs to develop products that meet their needs.
  • Knowledge of product manufacturing and quality principles.
  • Detailed knowledge of Quality Management systems.
  • Good level of People Management experience and skills.
  • Comprehensive communication and presentation skills.
  • Commercial acumen awareness.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong understanding of quality management systems and a passion for delivering high-quality products.

You will be responsible for overseeing the development and assessment of new Halfords own brand products, providing input and guidance on products technical and compliance requirements, and supporting Halfords Global Sourcing team in ensuring Suppliers/Factories comply to the Halfords technical and social Auditing program.
