About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our Transport Planning team at Contract Scotland. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to shape the transport networks of the future and contribute to cutting-edge transport solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing transport infrastructure schemes using AutoCAD.
  • Managing road network analysis and generating technical reports.
  • Collaborating with our team to deliver transport solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • A degree in civil engineering or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in transport engineering and planning, with a focus on development planning and sustainable transport planning.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard software, including AutoCAD and Junctions 9.
  • Familiarity with SCOTS/DMRB roads design principles and infrastructure design.
  • Experience in conducting feasibility studies and generating technical reports.
  • Affiliation with a relevant professional body (CIHT, ICE) and progression towards incorporated or chartered status is desirable.

Salary and Benefits
