Occupational Health Advisor

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Health Advisor to join our client, a successful and well-established manufacturing company with sites nationwide. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the health and wellbeing of employees across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the business to grow by providing a quality professional portfolio of services that meet and match business requirements.
  • Deliver the Occupational Health Service in accordance with Company Health and Safety legislation to ensure the health and wellbeing of all employees is maintained to the highest possible level.
  • Work closely with the Occupational Health & Wellbeing Manager and Physician to provide a comprehensive and effective Occupational Health Service.
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote employee health and wellbeing, and to prevent work-related illnesses and injuries.
  • Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations to management on how to mitigate risks and improve workplace health and safety.

Requirements:

  • Experience in occupational health and wellbeing, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including occasional travel to Ireland and other UK sites.
