Deputy Manager Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Early Years professional to support the management of our nursery. As Deputy Manager, you will be responsible for leading sessions, mentoring practitioners, and modelling good practice in supporting children's play and learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support a small team of practitioners in delivering high-quality early years provision.
  • Mentor and develop the skills of practitioners to ensure they are equipped to meet the needs of children.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures within the nursery.
  • Assist the Nursery Manager in the day-to-day running of the nursery, including some administrative duties.

Nursery Location: Castle Hedingham

Position: Deputy Manager - Must hold a Level 3 qualification in early years

Hours: Term time only. Monday - Friday 8.30am - 4pm. MUST BE ABLE TO WORK UNTIL 4PM plus termly evening meetings/parents evenings.

Holiday Time: Holidays taken out of term time only.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: £21,516.60 per year
