Getinge Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our Surgical Workplaces service team in the UK and Ireland.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, with experience in field-based work and proficiency in IT skills including Microsoft Office and CRM systems such as GForce.

This is a rewarding opportunity for a motivated individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and has a keen eye for detail.

About the Role:

We are offering a competitive salary of £50,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including private healthcare, travel and subsistence allowance, engineers' bonus scheme, shopping discounts through Perkbox, and an Employee Assistance Programme.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out routine testing of Getinge equipment, identifying and resolving technical issues, and providing quality service documentation to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dealing with customers in a courteous and professional manner at all times
  • Carrying out routine testing of Getinge equipment to relevant standards
  • Identifying and resolving technical issues with equipment
  • Providing quality service documentation to customers
  • Maintaining regular communication with the internal Service Department, Technical Department, and Service Managers

Requirements:

  • Recognised qualification in Electrical or Electronic Engineering (such as City & Guilds Levels 1 & 2 or an equivalent qualification)
  • Experience of field-based work
  • IT skills including Microsoft Office; experience of using CRM systems such as GForce
  • A strong work ethic and first-rate organisational skills
