Support Worker - Swindon

We are seeking a Support Worker to join our team at William Street Flats, Swindon, as part of Iris Care Group, the largest independent health and social care provider across the Southwest of England and South Wales.

As a Support Worker, you will be supporting individuals with complex needs, such as Autism, Learning Disabilities, challenging behaviours, physical disabilities, and Mental Health conditions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support individuals with complex needs in their daily lives, encouraging participation in chosen activities and interests.
  • Co-ordinate scheduled activities and appointments, using personalised rotas and liaising with others.
  • Provide full training and support, including ongoing training and development opportunities.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and listening skills, with the ability to support individuals using various methods of communication.
  • Knowledge, experience, or desire to support individuals with Mental Health, Learning Disabilities, or Challenging Behaviour.
  • Valid UK Driving Licence essential.
