Perinatal Support Specialist

Cedar House Life Change Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation that provides high-quality Substance Abuse Treatment.
We are seeking a Perinatal Support Specialist to join our team and contribute to the success of our Treatment Team. The ideal candidate will be working alongside the Perinatal Case Manager/Supervisor and reporting to them.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with policies and procedures of Maple House Women with Children Program.
- Act as a role model for participants and their children.
- Maintain documentation in the beneficiary record, including updated case notes, discharge notes, and shift reports.
- Receive briefing from prior shift personnel on recent developments.
- Observe and report beneficiary behavior to case managers and document in the beneficiary chart as well as shift report in EHR.
- Conduct walk-throughs of facility and beneficiary rooms every 30 minutes and provide documentation of walk-throughs during 3rd shift.
- Knowledge of Confidentiality laws, policies, and procedures.
- Answer telephones and become knowledgeable about referral procedures.

The estimated salary for this position is approximately $65,000 - $75,000 per annum, based on industry standards and comparable positions in California. This figure may vary depending on experience and qualifications.
