About the Role

SF Recruitment is partnering with a leading organisation near Cinderford to recruit a Warehouse Manager on a permanent basis. This exciting opportunity presents a chance to join a growing business with a great company culture and scope for professional growth.

Key highlights of this role include a competitive salary range of £30,000-£36,000 and a standard working hours of 9am-5pm.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement efficient warehouse processes and procedures in line with Standard Operating Procedures.
  2. Oversee all logistical aspects of the warehouse, including regular audits to ensure compliance.
  3. Ensure accurate stock control and maintain the integrity of the stock control system.
  4. Prioritise space allocation and plan future capacity requirements to meet business needs.
  5. Collaborate with the management team to drive long-term planning and strategy for the business.
  6. Implement responsive systems and processes to manage variance in demand and achieve operational objectives.
  7. Mentor and lead the performance of your team to drive success.
  8. Document recording and data entry into the system will be a key responsibility.
  9. Ensure timely and accurate processing of incoming paperwork and transfer to the Finance office.
  10. Monitor temperature levels in all storage areas of the warehouse.
  11. Assume overall responsibility for Health and Safety, hygiene, and security within the warehouse.
Additional Yard Duties
  1. Ensure the yard area meets Health and Safety standards.
  2. Oversee stock control and inventory management in the yard and shop floor areas.
  3. Manage online order distribution efficiently.
Requirements
  1. Proven experience in managing a warehouse or distribution centre with complex products.
  2. Ability to create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  3. Holding a valid Forklift Truck Licence is essential, with opportunities for renewal if required.
