Our NHS hospital is seeking a highly motivated and skilled professional to fill the role of Theatre and Ophthalmic Care Professional.

Job Overview

As a Theatre and Ophthalmic Care Professional, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to achieve outstanding patient outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a theatre or ophthalmic healthcare environment and possess strong communication and interpersonal skills. A diploma level qualification and generic preregistration experience are also essential.

A DBS check will be conducted as part of the recruitment process.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assisting with surgical procedures and providing theatre care services
  • Providing admission and discharge care in the ward area of the Ophthalmic Day Unit
  • Leading the Multi-disciplinary Team in the absence of more senior staff

Annual Salary: £35,000 - £45,000
