About the Role

You will work alongside a team to provide high-quality teaching on one module of the SOAS-Alphawood Postgraduate Diploma in Asian Art, including the development and preparation of materials and assessment for students.

The module convenors, director, manager, and administrator provide exceptional pedagogical, practical, and pastoral support to students.

The SOAS-Alphawood Postgraduate Diploma in Asian Art is a unique academic programme, located in the College of Humanities, with a strong vocational focus and international reputation.

Our courses enable students to develop practical skills directly applicable to careers in the museum sector and art market.

Through our distinctive pedagogical approach, we provide a rigorous and expansive foundation for further postgraduate study.

About the Department

The SOAS-Alphawood Postgraduate Diploma in Asian Art is a leading programme in the study of Asian art, with a formal Memorandum of Association with the British Museum and Victoria and Albert Museum.

Our courses offer a proven pathway into UK higher education for mature and international students who would otherwise struggle with the demands of a postgraduate degree at SOAS.
