We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Bush and Company Rehabilitation. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to an individual with complex needs and brain injury.
About the Role:
- Provide personal care and support to the individual, including assistance with daily living activities, personal hygiene, and medication administration.
- Assist with promoting the individual's independence and autonomy, while ensuring their dignity, safety, and well-being are maintained.
- Support the individual in participating in day-to-day activities, therapies, and healthcare input.
- Write detailed notes on the individual's day-to-day activities, care, and healthcare input.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in care and with complex needs/brain injury is desirable, but full training and support will be given.
- Ability to work a 6-week rolling rota, with rest periods.
- Full clean driving license, for insurance purposes.
- Enhanced check with the Disclosure and Barring Service will be required.
Working Conditions:
- 28 hours per week, with a mix of weekday and weekend shifts.
- Competitive hourly rate, with sleep-in rates and bank holiday pay.
