Job Title: Programme Finance Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Programme Finance Manager to join our team at Energy Saving Trust. As a Programme Finance Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of grant schemes, ensuring robust financial management of funds and grant claims.

About the Role

The Programme Finance Manager will work closely with the Programme Manager to design, operate, manage, and refine financial systems to ensure fair and accurate distribution of grant funds and robust management and reporting of overall scheme finances.

You will be responsible for reviewing grant scheme financial management processes, overseeing their effective operation, and ensuring quality assurance on scheme processes.

Additionally, you will support other team members in communicating and answering queries about scheme processes, manage and oversee checks on grantee reporting of finances and impact data, and review and sign off grant claims processed by other team members.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent understanding of financial management applicable to grant schemes.
  • Good understanding of the charitable and community sector and the unique challenges they face.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to deal with situations with sensitivity and diplomacy.
  • A supporting and collaborative mindset.
  • Well-organised with a proven track record working simultaneously on a variety of tasks.
