Job Description

As a Senior Regional Educator at ghd, you will play a pivotal role in providing inspirational education and training to top salon and premium retail channels. Your primary responsibility will be to champion brand advocacy, mentor, support, and develop the Regional Freelance Education Team as well as the Premium Retail Brand Ambassadors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Foster a culture of creativity and excellence.
  • Role model and champion the 5Cs framework, being Collaborative, Creative, Courageous, Connected, and Committed.
  • Deliver in-salon trend-led education sessions to key account salons, national accounts, and high-tier ghd stockists.
  • Support the sales team in gaining new ghd stockists.
  • Support the salon channel with effective recommendation and communication of ghd brand, implementing REDAC and supporting sell-through.
  • Attend regional and national sales meetings, representing the education department.
  • Attend Area Sales Manager (ASM) meetings to provide educational updates.
  • Attend National and Key Account education/planning/trade meetings.
  • Support National and Key Account Managers with the effective organisation and timetable of education deployment within major salon groups.
  • Support the launch and activation of new innovations within the salon channel.
  • Maintain clear lines of communication with Premium Retail Brand Ambassadors.
  • Mentor a regional team of freelance ghd educators, providing them with clear brand communications, training, development, and support.
  • Be responsible for an in-depth reporting system on all regional education.
  • Support the launch and activation of new innovations within the premium retail channel.
  • Support all REDAC seminars for the premium retail teams.
  • Keep regular contact with Premium Retail Brand Ambassadors, maintaining clear lines of communication.
  • Present at regional meetings, shows, seminars, and events.
  • Develop a strong social media presence promoting brand advocacy.
  • Attend monthly education meetings.
  • Report weekly to the UK and ROI Head of Education.
  • Be involved in highly confidential NPD testing and activation.
Requirements
  • Highly qualified senior hair stylist background.
  • Confident understanding of social media.
  • Outgoing, energetic, upbeat, and fun.
  • Education experience.
  • Coaching/mentoring experience.
  • Presentation experience with a variety of different-sized audiences.
  • Excellent IT skills, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Fashionable with a keen understanding of the Hair, Fashion, and Beauty industry.
  • Hunger to be part of a brand at the forefront of innovation.
  • Professional manner always, with a high level of customer focus.
  • Ability to adapt education or communication to a variety of different teams and stylists.
  • Self-motivated, passionate, empathetic individual with a positive attitude, 'can-do' approach, and entrepreneurial growth and 'anything is possible' mindset.
