Sustainable Futures Group is partnering with a leading Housing Provider in the UK to find a dedicated Health, Safety and Environmental Manager to join their team. This exciting opportunity will allow you to work closely with the Head of HSE, coaching and mentoring a high-performing team, and shaping the future of HSE across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the management of HSE systems to maintain high Safety and Environmental standards across all sites
- Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations in Construction new build and refurbishment environments
- Maintain ISO 14001, 45001 and 9001 standards
- Engage with on-site teams and attend Safety committee meetings
- Implement risk assessments and Safety strategies tailored to each unique site
- Drive continuous improvement in Safety practices across multiple sites
- Chartered IOSH Membership or CertIOSH (Wanting to work towards Chartered IOSH)
- NEBOSH Diploma (Level 6 Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety) or equivalent such as NVQ level 6
- A background in the Construction/Refurbishment sector, with a strong understanding of industry-specific Safety challenges
- Proven leadership skills and experience managing HSE professionals and systems
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with various stakeholders
- A competitive salary of £50,000 - £55,000, plus an attractive benefits package
- 37 hours a week contract with flexible hours and the opportunity to work from home
