About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Adult Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team in Havering, North East London. This is a substantive, part-time role that offers the opportunity to work with people who are at high risk of developing psychotic disorders.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide senior medical support to the team, direct input on clinical cases, and guidance and supervision to junior colleagues. They will also be responsible for working directly with young adult people and their families, and liaising with other external mental health providers and acute hospitals.

Responsibilities:

Requirements:

  • Fully registered with the General Medical Council (GMC) with a licence to practice
  • Completion of Core Training or equivalent qualification
  • Section 12 Approval or eligibility for it
  • Approved Clinician status or eligibility for it
  • Inclusion in or eligibility for inclusion in the Specialist Register or within six months of obtaining CCST

Working Arrangements:

This is an established, substantive, part-time role - five programmed activities (DCC: SPA = 3.5). The frequency of on-call duties is currently one in fifty, with a three percent Category A on-call supplement (pro-rata).

Location:

The post is based at 137-145 Church Road, Harold Wood, Romford, RM3 0SH.

Salary:

The salary for this role is £105,504 - £139,882 per annum (pro-rata), making it a highly competitive offer for a skilled professional like yourself.
