Job Details

This exciting opportunity involves ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records and transactions within our client's organisation as a Cash Management & Distributions Technician in the Finance Operations function at Diligenta.

You will process money in and out transactions, dividend distributions, and maintain regulatory compliance with the FCA's CASS handbook.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Achieve accurate processing of incoming funds into BaNCS or RUFUS, adhering to CASS rules.
  2. Effectively record cheques in BaNCS or RUFUS, maintaining the safe log, and safeguard until banked as per CASS 7.
  3. Process outgoing manual payments (CHAPS & Foreign Transfers) with proper sign-off, ensuring CASS compliance.
  4. Develop and implement efficient systems for dividend distributions, including reconciliations and shortfall funding, adhering to CASS 7.
  5. Conduct intra-day and end-of-day bank reconciliations to ensure CASS 7 compliance and effective control.
  6. Investigate and resolve failed payments, bounced cheques, and perform payment-tracing as needed.
  7. Deliver timely payment and receipt reports to customers/LBG.
  8. Prepare and input manual journals as required.
