Vetro Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Deputy Manager to join our team in Stroud. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting adults with learning disabilities and ensuring they receive the best possible care and support.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the Registered Manager in ensuring high standards of clinical and personal support for individuals in the service.
- Monitor and maintain quality and safety priorities, and assist with managing the delivery of key services.
- Hold delegated responsibility for key areas of the service's daily operations, including leading and supervising a team of Support Workers.
- Promote good practice within the team and act as an exemplary role model for staff and individuals in the service.
- Flexibility is required for on-call shifts outside of regular working hours.
- Proven experience supporting adults with complex learning disabilities.
- Strong IT skills and experience maintaining records.
- In-depth knowledge of CQC regulations.
- Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (or an acceptable equivalent) and be willing to obtain a Level 5 within 18 months of starting the role.
- Possessing detailed knowledge of Health and Safety issues and Safeguarding regulations.
