Deputy Manager Opportunity in Stroud

Vetro Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Deputy Manager to join our team in Stroud. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting adults with learning disabilities and ensuring they receive the best possible care and support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Registered Manager in ensuring high standards of clinical and personal support for individuals in the service.
  • Monitor and maintain quality and safety priorities, and assist with managing the delivery of key services.
  • Hold delegated responsibility for key areas of the service's daily operations, including leading and supervising a team of Support Workers.
  • Promote good practice within the team and act as an exemplary role model for staff and individuals in the service.
  • Flexibility is required for on-call shifts outside of regular working hours.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience supporting adults with complex learning disabilities.
  • Strong IT skills and experience maintaining records.
  • In-depth knowledge of CQC regulations.
  • Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (or an acceptable equivalent) and be willing to obtain a Level 5 within 18 months of starting the role.
  • Possessing detailed knowledge of Health and Safety issues and Safeguarding regulations.
