Reliability Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at an excellent bespoke manufacturer in Plymouth. As a key member of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production facilities.
With a strong background in electrical engineering and electromechanical engineering, you will be able to troubleshoot complex issues and perform routine maintenance tasks efficiently.
The ideal candidate will have a time-served background in electrical or electromechanical engineering, with a minimum of 2 years' experience. A strong understanding of IEE Regulations (18th edition) and PLC control systems is essential.
About the RoleThis is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and skilled engineer to join a dynamic team and contribute to the success of our company. You will be working on a variety of tasks, including:
- Maintaining and repairing electrical and mechanical equipment
- Performing predictive and preventative maintenance tasks
- Troubleshooting complex issues and diagnosing faults
You will work closely with other engineers and technicians to ensure that all maintenance activities are carried out safely and efficiently.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- A time-served background in electrical or electromechanical engineering
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role
- A strong understanding of IEE Regulations (18th edition) and PLC control systems
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- A flexible approach to working hours
